Peter B. Petersen was a senior professor of the business faculty at the Johns Hopkins University until his retirement.


A cold winter morning, Sunday, February 7, 1904, Baltimore City Fire Department responded to an alarm at the John E. Hurst & Co. building. Within hours steady, there was a fire that  threatened the  city.
