

Lantern Night at the Fire Museum
On Saturday, October 28th from 6 pm to 8 pm, Lantern Night, a lovely fall tradition here at the Fire Museum, will take place. For one night only, we light candle or kerosene lanterns on many pieces of our historic apparatus. The lighting is soft and shadowy. As you wander our aisles, you feel transported into the past. In addition, we have historic re-enactors in period costumes around the Museum. You may run into a Buffalo Soldier, an 1800’s firefighter, or Civil War soldier
